Privacy policy

Last updated June 15, 2026

This policy explains what information Grapevine collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can, never sell your data, and give you control over what we hold.

Overview

Grapevine Labs, Inc. ("Grapevine", "we", "us") provides a media-monitoring platform. This policy applies to information we process when you visit our website, create an account, or use the Service. We act as a data controller for account data and as a processor for the monitoring data you configure.

Information we collect

We collect three broad categories of information:

  • Account information — your name, email, organization, and billing details.
  • Usage data — how you interact with the Service, collected to improve the product.
  • Monitoring configuration — the keywords, topics, and sources you choose to track. The mentions surfaced are drawn from publicly available media.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Deliver alerts, reports, and AI-generated summaries you've configured.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate important updates.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contents of your workspace to train third-party AI models.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Service, and only with parties bound by appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations:

  • Service providers — infrastructure, analytics, and payment processors acting on our behalf.
  • Legal compliance — when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

AI processing

Some features rely on large language models to summarize coverage and estimate brand visibility. When we send content to AI providers, we use enterprise endpoints that do not retain your data for model training, and we send only what is necessary to generate the result.

Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account closure, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

  • Most data can be accessed and updated directly in your account settings.
  • You can export your workspace data at any time.
  • Email privacy@grapevine.tech and we'll respond within 30 days.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe and will notify you of any breach affecting your data as required by law.

Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and a small set of analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some functionality.
